Explosion Proof Sanitary Ball Valves

Explosion Proof Sanitary Ball Valves are quarter-turn valves that utilize a ball to restrict flow by sealing around matching seats. These robust valves are ideal for a wide range of applications including food, beverage, pharmaceutical and chemical processing, and they can withstand high operating pressures and temperatures. They are easy to maintain and provide a high degree of accuracy and control.

A key component of the explosion-proof electric sanitary ball valve is its explosion-proof actuator. The electric actuator is designed to convert electrical energy into mechanical torque, which is used to control the rotation of the valve and thereby regulate the flow of fluids through the pipeline. The actuator is constructed using components that are specially designed to avoid generating sparks or producing excessive heat, which could ignite combustible materials within the pipe system.

The explosion-proof electric sanitary ball valve also has an explosion-proof enclosure that can enclose all the electrical parts of the equipment. This can withstand the impact of external explosion shock waves, and it is made from flame-retardant and fireproof materials to prevent accidental ignition. All the wiring must use special cables that are different from normal equipment to ensure that they do not produce electric sparks or arcs that can cause an explosion.

The explosion-proof electric sanitary ball valve has two types of electric actuators, one is power-to-open and the other is power-to-close. It can also accept a 4 to 20 mA input signal for proportional control. In the case of a continuous signal, the motor runs and via a self-locking gear drive rotates the valve. On receiving a reversing signal, the motor turns in the opposite direction, reversing the valve position. The valve also includes a variety of other features, such as manual operation, simple connection, position indication and other functions. Explosion Proof Sanitary Ball Valves
